    Soft leather A-2

    My favourite jacket so far is my ELC A-2. It looks great on me but it's like wearing an armour. The leather is not breaking in, I guess beacuse I wear the jacket during just a few months of the year. Since the lining is so thin, the jacket is not warm enough for autumn and winter. However...

    Hope this question is not too silly :o I have a khaki shirt that I want to dye to dark brown. Fabric is quite thick, 60% cotton, 40% polyester. Is it possible to re-dye? How?

    Who makes this style of sherlings? It is almost a 3/4 jacket, honey sheepskin, dark brown, no belt, no straps under the collar.

    I intended to buy an u-boat leather jacket reproduction for this winter but I'm not convinced by the current offer. If I wanted to purchase a black leather peacoat, what would be the best one? I'd like quality, thick leather and warm. :)

    I'm talking about the 3/4 u-boat leather coat here, not the panzer leather jacket that was given to some submarine crews. So far I've found four; Magnoli Dr Who -> not sure if this is a real u-boat jacket repro Noble House Shop -> according to other threads, low quality jackets...

    Spearhead Militaria leather quality?

    Any experience with leather jackets from this seller? I'm interested in their U-boat jacket but they also have a german leather greatcoat and several A-2. However all stuff is made in China, so I'm not sure about its quality.
