I like the wide brim. My Adventurer is strictly my rain hat. I have it on today because of the weather and my glasses or nice and dry. -

My wife has mixed feeling about my hats. She said that one thing that drives her crazy is my " dang hats". But she also said one thing she love about me is my " dang hats", because I wear them regardless of what anyone thinks. -

Tilley T3 vs. Outdoor Research Seattle Sombrero
My vote is for Tilley all the way. Last summer I returned one of my 10 year old Tilleys with a rip on the side ( washing Mach ) to the local sporting good. They replaced with no questions ask. When they say " lifetime" , they mean it. -

Ok, next question. If I find a vintage hat to upsize and have it reblocked , new sweatband, and put in a new liner, is it still consider vintage. The only thing left would be the vintage felt. Would it be worthwhile or should I stick to new customs? -

Ok I've been thinking ( which is not always a good thing). I have an big melon for a head ( 8 ) and would love to have a vintage hat. How small of a size could I get to stretch to a size 8 without damaging the hat. -

Holy Grail Ok guys, I was thinking, which can be a bad thing, is there a hat that is your "dream hat"? A hat that you do not have because it's to expensive , rare, or you just can't bring you self to wear. Just wondering! -
