Such a beautiful cut & style cherry lips.
When you went to your hairstylist what did you ask for? Did you take any pictures? If so, what pictures did you use?

I do really like the 1960s series - rather tacky but great fun.
For some reason the character John Steed reminds me of the 1960s Batman villian The Penguin.... must be the nose.

Mojito - I don't know if this has been asked - but where would a person who adores the 20s start to build their own collection of clothes, accessories, etc..?

Australia...

I might borrow the dvd from my local library for nostalgia's sake

The villian I am thinking of I don't 'love to hate' - I just really disliked him. I think if you really dislike or hate a villian it means they are playing/acting it well (I don't mean villians from tacky films).
The villian I really really disliked was the headmaster/principle from the movie...
When I was a kid I used to really like the 1980s version of 'Flash Gordon'. I thought it was brilliant - not so much now lol
Now that was a tacky movie
lol I remember this movie! It was sooooo bad - it was good!
I especially like the liked it when the prostitutes exploded from the 'supercrack' - the special effects were soooo bad lol
oh! I love paper dolls!!!
Great links and pictures.
I do collect them - From Betty Grable to Art Deco Fashions (my favourite at the moment... if you ask me tomorrow it will probably be different!).
I do like Tom Tierneys work.
This movie has finally come to Australia - I personally do not see what the big deal is, I guess it is all hype.
Such a silly movie.
Also - if this is suppose to be a really evil spirit - why is it just banging on doors and closing and opening doors?
As for aging - there was this lady that lived near-by whom I really admired, and she was in her late 70s.
[Sadly she past away a few years ago]
She always looked chic and elegant. She had that Audrey Hepburn 50s style - she may have been in her late 70s but it suited her to a T.
She is...
ABCs "COLLECTORS" - I always watch this when I can.
This weeks was "50s Fair" which was on location at the annual Rose Seidler 50s Fair.
Some of the collections they showed - *sigh* - I was green with envy!

THE FRENCH LINE (1954) - A Texas oil heiress travels incognito to France, determined to find true love. Musical starring Jane Russell, Gilbert Roland, Arthur Hunnicutt, Mary McCarty DIR: Lloyd Bacon
I found this movie to be a bit of fluff, but entertaining non the less - some nice singing...
Hiya ~ did you watch it on ABC tv?
It's one of my favourite movies.
They are always showing great films very late at night - I always check their program guide and have my video recorder ready :)
