If your hair is skinny, you may want to let the layers grow out in the back, otherwise it may look too skinny. I let mine grow out and just cut the hair in front of the ears a bit shorter and then graduate it so that it matches the U in the back of my hair. I hope that makes sense. -

my hair, particularly through the winter, is very sensitive to washing and develops nasty flakes. So I wash it about twice a week if I can get away with it. If you ever had trouble with dry scalp, the easiest solution is to stop washing it so often. For the grease I wash it with baking soda... -

you can make your own clip in extensions, I sometimes use them when I want fullness (not length, because it can look fake) I made them from hair that is used for weaving. Having your hair weaved however, stretches the scalp so women sometimes develop bald spots. -

ugh I have many. Shaved off my eyebrows at 14 and drew them in. Plucked them super skinny like a chola throughout high school. Wore extremely heavy foundation in high school. Dark, dark almost brown lipstick...really bright cheek color that looked like a clown at 16....but alas, my mistakes... -

the best thing to do is purchase a reproduction hair guide and do it yourself. It's a lot easier to cut long hair by yourself, then it is to cut short hair. I'm so glad I learned. Saves me a lot of money, and I'm usually happy with the way it turns out -

it's a good sign of a quality piece. Cheaper furniture didn't bother with these types of joints. (like kitchen cabinets) if you look at a lot of modern examples, like furniture from ikea, they forgo dovetailing all together.- virgi
