    Young loungers

There is a place here in downtown Fort Worth called Scat Jazz Lounge. Dark room, good music, lots of good scotch and other drinks. You have to go down an alleyway, then take an elevator to the basement of the building. It's really cool.

The Complete Guide to suits: 57 Rules of Style

Oh, I certainly agree that one should not have a puddle of cloth bunched around the ankle and on top of the shoe. These are a little too tight and short for me though. To each his own I suppose.

    Pics of classic gas stations

Wow, nice! Here is another old Sinclair a two minute walk from my apartment. The gates around it are never open, and every once in a while I will see the same truck parked inside. It has some cool neon signs (some of them Sinclair, if I recall) inside and is a nice sight at night. Not sure if...

    GAMERS of the Lounge!

One of the best! I often have trouble deciding whether I like it or Fable better. Skyrim has a bigger world, more stuff, etc. but I have fond memories of Fable because it was the first game I ever played that I was so immersed in I forgot where I was for hours at a time.

    Drinks and Cigars in Film

Not a movie, but I've always loved the lonely, contemplative Sinatra having a smoke on a deserted street in the middle of the night:

    Young loungers

25 here. I recently got into vintage things in the past couple of years. It started as antique wood furniture, and has seeped into other areas of life such as dress, movies, radio, etc.

Is your significant other fond of the Golden Era?

I'll start by saying my wife and I are aged 27 and 25. Her parents had her later in life, they are very close to 70. She has grown up with antiques, in older homes, etc. for the duration of her life and so she appreciates these things, and likes that I enjoy them as well.

Are you ever tired of explaining why you live or dress the way you do?

I often get asked where I am going, where I have been, or what the big occasion is by anyone under the age of 50. People also tell me I look like a "gangster". I do get compliments as well, mostly from women aged mid-50's or older. Most people around this area seem to "dress up" in a pair of...

Front Seat vs Back Seat Where do you stand?

I am 6'4", so I usually end up choosing the front seat. It's too bad I don't have that option on airplanes as well.

    Bogart Film Festival

I saw something about this. I would love to be there just to see the attire. I can't say I have ever seen anyone wearing a trench coat and fedora. Actually, I don't think I have ever even seen a proper fedora worn around these parts.

Where did your user name come from??

It started as my gamer tag on the online PC game Counter-Strike, and has just stuck with me.

    GAMERS of the Lounge!

I play PC games almost exclusively. My all-time favorite is Counter-Strike: Source. Some others I have enjoyed: Skyrim Fable (The first) Day of Defeat (Set in WWII) Age of Empires 3 Max Payne

    What's for Dinner?

Last night it was Fregola, homemade red sauce, pecorino, a salad and a glass of Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva 2008. A delicious meal cooked by my wife.

    Porter beer?

Their website says that Founders just became available in Texas on April 8th. I will have to go pick some up. I've heard good things. They're a little behind on the craft brew movement here. I'm hoping more beers will become available here in the near future.

    The Great Beer Thread

I haven't had the pleasure of trying those as of yet. We don't get the full range down here in Texas. A couple of those on my list I had to pick up while visiting my old hometown of Cincinnati. I didn't see the WWS or Squall while I was there.
