I'm after an used Type D-1 jacket around Sz 40-42. I hover between a 40" to 42" chest so I don't know how roomy the jackets are.
Anyway, I'd prefer a well used example but would always consider a pristine one. I'm not bothered about maker as long as it looks accurate.
I live in the UK but...
I'm desperately after a size 38 Type B-11 parka. Condition must be near mint but I will consider any condition.

One of the latest uniforms in my Airborne Troop Carrier collection. F/O Elwood Brindle was a Glider Pilot in the 75th Troop Carrier Squadron, 435th Troop Carrier Group. He flew a Waco CG-4A into Normandy.

Membury is only 20 minutes from my house and one the 436th is one of my main interests. Which squadron was your father in? I have a lot of copies of the original 436th paperwork and I might be able to find your father amongst them.
