Easy Way To Shorten Ties?
I have a number of ties that are simply too long, and would look much better on me with a few inches snipped off. Is there an easy way to do this? How hard is it to re-sew? Should I ask a tailor, or is there a company that does this in bulk? Thank you!- Daniel

When Did Suit Pants Get Back Pockets?
Hi everyone -- I bought a vintage suit that I absolutely LOVE, and it appears to be late-thirties, tailor-made. The pants don't have back pockets. Was this an option, or a standard, or just a matter of style? When did back pockets become common? Thanks!
