    My chest size is close to 43" but usually size 40" fits. My Shackleton waistcoat is size 40 and fits perfect but when I spoke to aero they advised me to go for a 44" which would have been too big.     Thank you, from what I can tell from reading what I can find on a-1s I think going 2 sizes up may be best but I will also contact aero.

    Hello gentleman, I was hoping somebody could help me figure out the right size to order in an a-1 jacket . got my heart set on an aero leather. I'm 5ft 10, 13 and half st athletic build 33" waist. Usually a size 40 chest fits me most things but I understand these come up snug.
