    My first suit :)

Apart from the steroids, the thought has already crossed my mind. Unfortunately, i can already eat poorly and do no exercise without putting on weight so that options out. Just leaves body shaping exercises and im too lazy for all that :)

    My first suit :)

I agree on the chest, if it can be altered easily/well then i will, i also agree on the sleeves being a little long. I do love it and will wear it as it is if i have too. As for different era's, different fit, i think ive not explained myself properly. A couple of examples. 1950's...

    My first suit :)

Forgot to say, the jacket fits better in the waist than the chest. Maybe the guy it was made for was about my size but with just a bigger chest. Maybe i should tailor my body to the suit :) I think i may just take the sleeves/leg up slightly although probably not as much as an inch. Dont...

    My first suit :)

Thanks, im going to take it to the tailors anyway to get a button fixed and get it pressed properly. Ill see what they say about the sleeve length. I already enquired about costs to do sleeve/leg length and its cheap enough :) The shoulders do fit perfectly, although as you say, it does...

    Tattoos.

Well, thats different. Cant make my mind up, part of me really likes it, the other part of me really isnt sure. I have nothing against rough tattoo's, prison tats, home done stuff etc. I certainly dont think tattoo's have to be intricate or well done to be beautiful. I wonder how good a...

    Plaid/Tartan vest help.

On a slightly different note, im not sure if this is true or not, maybe someone here knows. As for proper tartans, there are restrictions on what can be made by who. My sisters ex boyfriends family owned a mill in yorkshire. Apparantly they were the only mill allowed to produce (proper)...

    Question for UK members

:D no one that uses the term 'one' to describe themselves would use the term 'brew up', the terms come trom (traditionaly) different ends of the social scale. T pots are rarely used at all anyway. As for dish soap, do you mean you actually use a solid bar of soap to wash up?, or 'wash...

    Plaid/Tartan vest help.

Yep, agree with you there, royal stewart was done to death, especialy in the (mid?) 90's in england. Im not so keen on tartan myself, just interested due to (scottish) family history.

Ok, as were showing, heres my right arm A friend of mine worked in an old folks home, an elderly woman there was tattoo'd, she had them done in the 20's. She used to spend quite a bit of time down the docks;) I always thought that must have been a pretty unusual thing for a woman then.
