Favorite Uniforms
It look like converted Austrian uniforms with German style dark green collars (originaly with standing collar). I would guess, that they are former soldiers of Austrian Army after the Anschluß. Vintage Things That Have Disappeared In Your Lifetime?
Ok so I am young and not much vintage has disappeared in my life (VHS, cassette tapes, etc. obviously dont count). Our own vintage town
I am fairly new here but took time to look over the thread. Funny that I have actually thought about how it would be nice if someone started ca. 1930s-50style town that was more or less self-sufficient. It would be great to actually see it become a reality and not just a mere fantasy!- Klaus A

I am new here but anyways, I have 1950s tweed jacket (ok not a suit but guess it belongs here) that fits me fine except that the sleeves cover my shirt cuffs. I was thinking of having them shortened by tailor. Is this a good idea? I am not sure if this would be expensive. The long sleeves bother... -
