    Straw Open Road

    I have the hemp stratoliner in navy with grey. I love it! The brim is not very stiff at all, and difficult to shape. Took me 3 or 4 steamings to get the left side a little straighter and higher with the right side sloping down a little lower. But it looks great now. I am hesitant to spend...

    HAT ADORNMENTS: ribbons, bows, pins, pugs, leather, etc.

    Wow, I really like that! Very cool! That's snazzy! Hat pick, eh? I might have to look into those. Anyone ever put a playing card in their ribbons?

    Man, that's a good looking hat!

    Hat from Monsieur Spade

    That looks like a fantastic hat! I was looking at the Akubra Bogart also, which is almost the same, just a different crown.

    Hat from Monsieur Spade

    Was looking at Holland Hats, and the Borsalino Bellagio in grey looks pretty close.

    Hat from Monsieur Spade

    Hey there, I'm trying to find the hat they used for the new Monsieur Spade show. Unfortunately I cannot too many good pics not any info. Anyone got any ideas? Looks like a grey or caribou, with a blue ribbon.

    The BORSALINO BROTHERHOOD

    I think I'll go 62 and if it's a little large, I'll use a sizer.

    The BORSALINO BROTHERHOOD

    Interesting. I might have to attempt trying some on at a hat store someday, but none are near me, and it makes it tough.

    The BORSALINO BROTHERHOOD

    So if you wear a 60cm/ a 7 ¹/² in most brands. What size Borsalino would you recommend? Should you go 61 or 62? What's yalls opinion?

    The BORSALINO BROTHERHOOD

    Got a Borsalino Bogart Cut 1. I'm stunned just how different it is from my Stetson Temples, how clay-like and easy to shape it is. I got a 60cm/ a 7 1/2 like my Stetsons and Baileys. But it feels a size smaller. Sits much higher on my head, and the crown is taller than my other hats also, so...

    Straw Open Road

    Anyone have any experience with straw stetson open roads? I haven't ever tried one of yet. My preference for hats is definitely with the brim turned down. I've talked to some with fur open roads that snap down beautifully, but I'm wondering if the straw ones work the same?

    HAT ADORNMENTS: ribbons, bows, pins, pugs, leather, etc.

    I've added a Sailboat pin to my navy blue Bailey wool-felt. I want to add a taller ribbon really badly, but I have not figured out how yet.

    Where do you hang your hat?

    I use "command strip" hangers, and I get the wool "dryer balls", cut an X slit and affix them the hangers. Comes out like this:

    Stetson Stratoliner Milan {modern}

    Bout a week into owning it and I'm loving my hemp strat more and more. I've taken steam to it a few more times since my original post. And I'm a bit more happy with the brim now, managed to raise the left side slightly, and managed to increase and raise the pinch slightly. Still a bit too...

    Stetson Stratoliner Milan {modern}

    Just picked up my first Stratoliner. It's the Navy and grey hemp one: I know nothing about the different straw materials and was hesitant to go for hemp, because I'd only ever seen Millan, or shantung most the time. But I loved the color and the grey accents Very comfortable to wear...

    How do you make a new fedora hat ribbon with bow?

    Wow, some absolutely stunning work in here! You are all amazing! I just got a new wool-felt Bailey in Navy because I wanted a blue hat. Only thing is the ribbon is short, and I love the look of the tall ribbons. I don't know the first thing about replacing ribbons, and have never stitched...
