Not great, but since getting extra layers cut into my hair, this has been a recent take on a basic 60s style. Forgive the totally non-60's makeup. The top here is not really as high as usual, but I tease the underside of the top section, put a barrette in it, push it forward and pin it with a bobby pin. The sides and back are curled up using a straight iron.
