3/4 leather police coat (Bridgeport)-Skaggerac

I am new to this forum and enjoy reading the various threads. I am amazed at the collective knowledge shown throughout the posts and am hoping someone can lead me in the right direction.

I recently purchased a 3/4 leather police coat (Bridgeport). The label reads Skaggerac. The links to the photos give a fairly complete picture. The coat is extremely heavy, has a zip out liner (Talon zipper), and refective tape behind the chest pockets and back flap - the tape folds down and can be displayed or folded up and Velcroed behind the flaps.

I am trying to date the coat but am having little luck. If anyone has a similar jacket or recognizes the labell, I would greatly appreciate any info you may have. Thanks.

That looks a great warm coat...it has that pimpy 70's look that I love too
