50s June Cash hair

Hi Ladies!

This is how I often try to get my hair, but it never seems to work. Im wondering if I am rolling it on rollers that are too big or need to tighten up my pin curls. Can anyone help with how to style this hair?

Are you using a specific setting pattern? It looks like her hair may actually be falling the way it is more from the way the set interacts with her haircut, but I'd have to see her cut unstyled to know for sure.

Her hair looks gorgeous in that pic, and I adore her dress! Good luck figuring it out, sorry I'm not more help.
