Hopefully there are descendants of the original owners and the cross will be returned to them.
If there are no living relatives, it would be a wonderful piece for the National Museum in Warsaw.
Who knows how long this could take to sort out? It's amazing that an item confiscated by the Nazi's has resurfaced some 60 odd years later. It makes you wonder what is still out there.
