A 1940s ('50s?) dress with beautiful embroidery

This is a homemade dress that is very finely done (we think it's homemade; we can't find any labels, in any case). It's in like-new condition; we can't find a flaw in it. My wife's very sorry to let it go, but it doesn't quite fit her, so we wanted to offer it to others who might appreciate it.

The bodice is a bit blousy, but our best estimate is that it's a 34-inch bust. At the waist it's 26" and at the hips its up to 34. The length measured from the top of the collar in the back in 43.5 inches. The dress, as pictured below, has pockets.

All measurements were taken flat, and we can provide more photos and measurements upon request.

She's asking $60, but is open to other offers (ladies, we'd also be interested in hearing your expert opinions on how old a dress it is -- we're not sure what decade it's from).
