'bout what I told ya'll i.e.- warehouse cleaning, old or forgotten stock, odds & sods and so on.
I asked if this were a prototype and was told that he thought they sold this model in the eighties. [huh]
I'd never heard of nor seen such.

Hmm, well, Berkeley Hat Co. is an official Stetson dealer....interesting find!

I hope this works out because you got me excited enough to call them on the phone and order one, too. I also ordered The Hat Guys' last Stetson Nostalgia. It's black, unfortunately, but the last one I could find in anyone's stores.

I hope it works as well for you as it has for me. I am very pleased. A substantial (thicker than some of westerns) yet buttery soft felt.

It does suffer from the Stetson post 7o's LAC syndrome & yet not as pronounced as modern production, kind of a transitional model maybe.

The fella knows what he has, to my dismay, lol and is getting good coin for them.

But I am quite pleased. Photo to follow as able.
