I bought this great stingy brim fedora new on my only trip to JJ Hat Center on 5th Avenue five or six years ago but have seldom wore it. I read later that this was the hat worn by Anthony Mackie in the movie Adjustment Bureau. It's also the one he puts on Matt Damon at the end if you remember the story. I can't attest to its magical realism ability.
The fur felt has a great hand and a sage green hue to the grey that pops in different lighting. The size is tagged as 7 1/2 but it fits like a 7 3/8. As proof, I've been selling some 60 hats that no longer fit me with short hair and this one still fits perfectly.
Welted brim is 1 1/2" and the black ribbon is 1 3/4". Crown is 4 1/4" to 4 3/4" as creased.
