This is a rare find! Fujioka deerskin. it's quite thick but very glovey soft, wears like thick sweats. There are a lot of hidden scars that will show up after wearing though. Especially if they gotten wet. So if cleaner look is what you are looking for, maybe hold out for the horsehide version.

I searched and searched and could not find this jacket... Must be a special retailer order. What is the last digits after the item number? RCL-10064 x-xxx, what are the x alphabets? I can't see them clearly in the photo. Thanks

If that is indeed the same or similar deerskin that Freewheelers use (also made in the same place as rainbow country) it will be glorious. Fairly thick, but soft and comfortable as can be. It also ages nicely and develops more of a sheen and depth of color over time.

As already stated, it will not be as hard wearing as cow or horse though.

Thanks man. I was very hesitant at first because of lack of experience with the deer skin but I am quite impressed it is very waxy and thick.

up, That deerskin is thick, but very supple and gains very nice depth and a sort of sheen as it ages which I love.
