There are two things about this hat which prompted me to want it more than the normal craving I get over the hats Mr Phi is offering. First is the color, I have nothing like this. The second is the Flagship label. As it is with the other styles like Whippet, Weekender, Playboy, etc., it's something a man ought to have at least one of. My grandfather would be envious.

What a remarkable opportunity this is for us to have a chance to buy these NOS hats.

I heard from Mr Phi, promptly as always, and money has changed hands. Given that it's the Thanksgiving week I expect it'll take a bit longer than it might otherwise before I see the hat. To borrow from PM Churchill "it is the end of the beginning." Now, much like it was 55 years ago, as a boy in church, the fidgeting begins.
