Biltmore Imperial dove gray homburg 7 1/2 (60). *** SOLD ***

I bought this hat recently on eBay as new old stock. It is a lovely dove gray Canadian Biltmore with a tone on tone ribbon. I never wore the hat. It was my intention to get it to size up to 7 5/8 (my size) but two things happened:
1. I decided I wanted a homburg of larger proportions (brim and crown).
2. I bought (another) vintage Stetson St. Regis.

I’m only looking to recoup my money so $62 shipped to the contiguous US in the original box.

That’s a hard question to answer. It’s all subjective and your head size/shape as well as your body type and of course your individual style all go in to it. I like bigger brimmed hats; hence the reason I’m selling it.

It’s a solid hat and I love the color; however, it is like most hats of recent manufacture as far as feel and felt quality. Lots of guys wear Homburgs casually, but I still reserve them for times when I’m dressed up at least in a sport coat. Very much up the the individual. Maybe checkout the Homburg Nation thread and find one on someone to get a sense of proportions and the general look.

No worries. I’d hate to sell a hat to someone who wasn’t getting exactly what they wanted. I too like the larger brim Homburgs, but if you wear them more casually I think the smaller brims come into their own. See you around.
