My old pair of hiking boots finally died the other day, so I placed an order for a new pair.

I'm pretty sure that they were made by palladium.
what do you think of these?
they're surplus from some european country. I'm not sure which one they have in stock.

They look like some very specialized old sport shoe, perhaps for rock climbing.

I looked around some more, and supposedly they're '70's issue french foreign leigon boots, but I'm really not too sure.

Canvas Boots

I do not know how the Israelis et al run round around in these Palladium style canvas and rubber boots. I used them when in the school cadets aged 16 and found them very sweaty. My son has the canvas Converse sneakers and he finds the same problem. Tout ca change....
