Buying Vintage

I got my license and a car and I now have access to stores that sell vintage. Yesterday I bought this tie:

I want to date it around the early 1950's...but I'm not sure. Its a bit worn though as you can see...damage in a couple areas, but I like it anyhow. Interesting tie.
Must...buy...more...vintage...

Acording to an online article (Google cleaning ties) they have to put it in with the gentle fabrics (in a bag) and pull it out before the spin dry reaches its highest revs or the old fabric may disintergrate.
