Capybara, man's best friend?

I just happened across this interview with a capybara owner and thought I would share it with my fellow loungers. Its a very good read with several pictures of Caplin Rous, the capybara pet of the interviewee.

They're odd looking yet interesting creatures.

I spent a week in a camp in the Amazon rainforest many years ago, and the camp had a pet capybara who was orphaned. He liked to lay with anyone in a hammock and suck on their finger. He was pretty cool.

I kept waiting for the picture of him wearing a hat....or her making his shed fur into a hat.......
