This is a pristine condition 1954 Stetson Medalist Milan in a very rare 7 3/4 size.
The hat milan weave allows it to be very "airy" and allow your head to stay cool on those hot summer days.
The brim is 2 1/2" wide and the leather sweat band is still in great condition (see photos).
It is hard to call this hat used because it looks like it just came off the store shelf.
The only issue, that you can see in the pictures, is the back of the ribbon has been "pushed down" slightly. I didn't think it effected the look of the hat so I didn't touch it. I think it can be easily fixed, but I didn't attempt it.
This is a very special find for an individual with this large sized head.
