Oh the Waste Vegetable Oil cars! Those are fun. I've heard them called "frybrids"
Is that good or bad?
From waay back in the 70's there is a famous vegetarian cookbook "The Moosewood Cookbook", then recently some smart ass published his version which takes all their recipes and adds bacon. Claims it makes all the recipes so much better. So last night we made a cauliflower fritter (a fave vegetarian dish we sometimes cook when veggie friends arrive for dinner). Except I fried up some bacon, crumbled it and added but most importantly used the bacon fat to fry the fritter. It def made it taste much better.
Bacon makes everything better, even bacon itself. The best one near us is Baconfest, a fundraiser held by the metal community for the Connecticut Food Bank. Free bacon until it runs out, admission is $10 each and all the bands chip in as well to donate.
