Most G-1 jackets today have genuine mouton fur. Some have artificial fur. My 4 jackets that have fur collars are as follows:

The artificial fur on my American Made B-15 feels as soft and plush as the real deal. In one example, the fake is more comfortable to wear than the genuine item.
