First swing dance lesson

I just had my first swing dance lesson. Wow, is all I can say. Lots of fun but also lots of work.

Awesome! I do swing dancing (with a little blues thrown in) two or three times a week. There's a few big dances coming up this weekend in Detroit that I'm going to. Tons of fun.

I LOVE Swing dancing!! used to do it down in LA. I'm not particularly good, but as long as I have a strong leading fellow I can't fake it nicely

My wife and I took lessons together for a year. We're both professional musicians, so we were always "in the band" rather than having the chance to dance. I agree with others...stick with it. It's a lot of fun and the music is just so great-- Brian Setzer Orchestra, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Squirrel Nut Zippers....

Most importantly, have fun!
