I wear a size 7 1/4 and this hat has a good fit. I was planning to cut the brim down and change the ribbon to the Indy specs but decided to sell it, besides my Akubras are my main headwear.
Tagged size 7 1/4 or 58 cm circumference.
Brim measures 2 7/8" wide
Crown measures 5 3/4" tall open; as creased, it is 5 1/2" tall at highest point.
Grosgrain ribbon is 1 7/8" wide. Brown leather sweatband is 1 3/4" wide.
Excellent condition, the fur felt is beautifully finished, smooth, soft and has a wonderfully rich texture. The leather sweatband is supple with no signs of wear.
