FS: Cal Leathers Straight Zip CHP, Snap Cuffs, XL

Cal CHP that came to me by trade. It is awesome. Rare XL. It also has some other less common in Cal features— snap cuffs, no mouton lining at cuffs, wind flap.

Shoulder gussets, not found on all Cals but not really uncommon.

Hide is thick and super heavy. Great grain. It really is quite the Cal specimen. It’s a heavy jacket.

Typical fraying at the bottom of the zip. All Talon zips work just fine.

I have worn it twice, when I have had to seriously layer. This should be owned by someone who would wear it more than I do. More than I can. I love Cal and this is a great Cal.

Hi, it might be due to angle from which the photo was taken, I can't tell exactly from the pictures.
Does it have a longer back than front? or equal front & back length?

Okay. As requested. Even with the beaver tail, looking at about equal length front and back. Also, here is a picture with just a t-shirt, sweatshirt, and hoodie under it. When I was in Boston and SF recently I easily added a thick wool fisherman sweater and/or my IH 24oz black vest. It’s big.

Also— the laces area tied pretty tight to get to the pictured measurement though it could be tightened even more. The laces can be let loose for more space. I played with the laces and bottom measurement to make sure my work gear fit comfortably.
