FS - Newer 7 1/2 Borsalino

A medium weight brown Borsalino that fits me perfectly between a 7 1/2 and 7 5/8. It has a 3" brim and appears to have been sold originally in Germany (Munchen?). Felt is pliable and hand creases nicely. No issues that I have noticed; unfortunately, I picked it up just after purchasing a darker brown Borso that gets most of my "brown" head time. I wonder if I could shim it to a 7 1/4 and it fit and look right? I don't usually like shimming my hats though, Any thoughts?

The crown is fairly deep and, for me, that helps when adding shims as it works in my favor to keep a loose fitting hat in place on breezy days.
