Golden Era Sounds at a Modern Corporate Event

Hi all,

Friday before last, my two business partners and I had a corporate launch party for our new office. We are a financial company working in the real estate environment. The type of people that were there (there were 150) were clients, people from the banks, people from insurance companies, appraisers, realtors, surveyors etc.

A lot of organizing went into the night: we had to organize caterers, entertainment (a very good magician/comedian) to work the tables, and all the other things that go with making a corporate party a success.

I was delegated the music for the night and this is what I lined up (a playlist hooked up to Bose speakers is a recipe for a great nite).

Moral of the story? Golden Era tunes played to a modern business crowd go down a treat and you end up a hero if you play "cool" music rather that the modern drool!

or classical
real dramatic stuff to add to the event
i write theater music
i know it can add something
make people think
maybe instrumental music
or vocal
