Holmes Fedora

Hello everyone

I recently purchased this spectacular Holmes Fedora from FPH.

It looks....well lets just say its no flattering on my pumpkin head.
Sent it back for a reblock (Indy style) and to have the brim binding removed.

Was wondering if a change in hat band color would dress it down some...what color hat bands look good on black??
Trying to make it more casual.

Grayish, reddish, brownish, greenish, blueish ... most colors would go with black felt. I think, the hat looks great "as is" - and that an Indy-style blocking and a raw edge would be a step down. I'm not sure, we have the same taste in hats, so it's a bit hard to give advice on the ribbon color [huh]
