Picked this little book up several years ago now, but it has been hiding in a box since then. Thought it was about time I did something with it, so just scanned it in to share it. A charming little momento of Home Guard life.

Great peice of local history, and as an illustrator I love the cartoons!

from the Forward -

This little collection of incidents, accidents, and what not, is intended to serve as a reminder of other and happier (?) days.
If, in years to come these recollections should survive (and we hope they will) and cheer an odd moment, then their purpose will have been fulfilled and the utmost achieved.
Bill Stevens, Reg Preece.

Thank you.
