How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Somebody’s got to say it....do both then write it up for us inquiring minds.
Fozzie Cal deal total bum out!!

LOL. If only I could! Honestly I’m just bummed b/c while a repop will be undoubtedly nicer, “better”...it will be much less cool. Ah well. Wasn’t meant to be and I’ll just assume it wouldn’t have fit anyway.
Nah f’ that. Sucks!!’

Ton,
I’m sorry about the fozzy Cal! I’m glad to hear you have a backup plan and I think you’d be better off using Stu for the CHP since it is one of his signature models. There is also something really really really nice about his horsehide that I haven’t experienced anywhere else. It is extremely wearable right out of the box even despite the heavy weight. After a few months of pretty regular wear it is becoming downright comfortable. Now how many 8 pound jackets can you say that about?

I’d be in more than mourning for that Fozzie Bear too, Ton. If i’d have missed out on my Fozzie Californian cross zip i’d a s**t bullets! Second fiddle sucks no matter how nice. Kinda like that girl that got away. She never leaves. Maybe it’ll come back around, sometimes she does.

The thing is I’ve been cultivating a nice little group of unique stuff. Stuff I haven’t seen duplicates of. Some turds (but my turns and still unique turds). The CAL was to be the crown jewel! But yeah, if anything will help one forget all that it’s @El Marro’s CHP. That thing is just fully off the charts.

Yesterday at 12:12 pm:

I've resigned myself to the previously loved market...I already bought enough new jackets for other people to wear.

Today at 3:15 pm:

Now I have to decide if it’s time to ring up Stu and go for a CHP spec’d just like @El Marro‘s. Didn’t really want to go whole hog on yet another jacket. But the call for one is loud.

That didn't take long. :D

I can only repeat what I said earlier - while my LW motorcycle jacket isn't perfect, in a month that I've had it, I practically lived in it. Currently selling five jackets. So... I guess it would be an easy decision for me.

Alan has my CAL now for a collar. I’m going to ask him about duplicating it in some “are you man enough” hide. See what he thinks. It has to be perfect. I won’t be happy with anything less. I want to leave this game. On a high note!

Out of which game exactly? Surely not leather jackets :p

RMC N-1. I currently have a Pike Bros which I love. Because of that I was just nerding around looking at others. I found this one in my size (hopefully) and threw up an opening bid that stuck. One of the two will be up for sale next week if anyone has been looking. Super wearable.

This came today. 1950s Excelled, but probably made by a different contract manufacturer as my last one. Identical design. This one employs NYNCO hardware (?) horsehide is softer but the entirety of the leather is strong & very pliable, this one seemed to be from an earlier 50s than my other one. Size-wise it’s fitted, exactly my size so it’s like a second skin.

Curious to hear your comparison thoughts. Those BR’s typically go for double the pike.

I have a Buzz Rickson N-1 I picked up a few weeks ago, great jacket.

My Aero CHIPS has had it's status changed to 'Factory', wahoo!
