I came across a rather marvelous little handbook recently during my travels around some dusty bookshops in the city.
The book in question was written by a chap called George Mikes, who moved to the UK from Eastern Europe in the first half of the last century, his observations are great and full of hilarities. Well worth the pound or two I paid for it.
