How to wear this Ladies Borsalino hat?

I purchased this Borsalino ladies hat as a gift. But which of these four views faces front?

It came from a Paris hat shop, according to the seller.

Is the l"Bonta" label supposed to be in the back (rear) of the hat when worn? If so, the tassel would be on the right side of the wearer's head, an orientation which seems strange.

If the label is worn on the left side of the head, the tassel would be facing front.

Lady's hats are suppposed to have the bow/adornment on the opposite side; right instead of left. The tag goes in the back.

I have restored a number of western hats for my wife and left the ribbon on the left. I made her a hat and in keeping with tradition put the adornment on the right. She dislikes it as she keeps putting it on her head backwards!!!
