  • Get a good night's sleep.
  • Stand up straight.
  • Sit up straight.
  • Don't lean against anything.
  • Think of something that makes you happy.
  • Glide, don't clomp.
  • Don't squint--wear contacts or glasses if you need them.
  • Leave your hands at your side (or in your lap) and don't fidget.
There are others I can think of, but I'm sure they would be SOP for the FL ladies.

* Smile at people. At the very least, don't frown.

Drink at least half your body weight in ounces of water. (daily)

And stay out of the sun, lest your skin becomes like that of an Italian handbag.

^but when I smile at people they talk to me.

lol You're so funny. I have the same problem, 'specially at work (shudder). Ah well, I suppose that the price we pay to look charming and feminine is the pain of talking to people we'd rather not...

Don't look at the ground. There's nothing interesting down there.

My boyfriend quite often finds money in the street, though... including a wad of £100 in the gutter... not in a wallet or anything, just £100 rolled up :)

I'd say the smiling thing is very important. I know a lady that my friends and I all thought was horrible, very stern, and because of this we didn't see her as pretty at all. Recently though, she has become much more friendly, and we've been sort of "oh, I never noticed, she's actually beautiful!"

But don't hide from the sun either! 10 minutes of midday light is a great source of vitamin D. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitamin_D

I agree...but it's pretty hard not to get ten minutes of midday light! I know I get more than that just by walking to classes...added to the amount of time I spend outside walking, bike riding, etc...sunscreen is a great friend.

Honey, do you think it is possible to hide from the sun in Arizona? If it were that easy... I get my 10 minutes a day walking underneath my skylights. lol

Amen! Gotta love the blue Arizona sky!

:p I guess that did sound pretty stupid. You know I meant though!

Yeah, there IS a big difference between living your life normally and being a sun-worshipper who lays on the beach all day with SPF4. I think we all know what you meant.

These tips are wonderful, thanks for posting them. :)

I'm working on the "not leaning against anything" one. I guess I work to hard and sometimes I need something to hold me up. lol
