I was just wondering if there is anywhere on this site where the ladies can talk about baking, swap recipes, talk about thier ongoing craft projects, like thier knitting, crocheting or sewing, swap cleaning tips, basically, just talk about homely things, like a perfect 1950s housewife would.

A lot of things you are interested in are spread throughout the lounge. While the Powder Room and Beauty are the main areas for ladies, most food talk is done in either the Golden Era Forum or The Connoisseur. Household stuff is mostly found in Golden Era as well.

Crafting, knitting, sewing, and woman talk are all found in the Powder Room. Just take some time, look through the boards and threads to get a lay of the land. For the most part, stuff is pretty well organized, so once ya comb through, you'll find what you are looking for.

Also, you should read through the FAQ sections of each forum. Often they give outlines as to the content of that particular board.
