Finding myself in need of a crusher on a tight schedule, I was able to locate one on Ebay and have in my hands just a few days before my flight on a B17. I picked up a new condition Lancaster Brand replica for what I consider to be an excellent deal. I am curious, since I do not have an original in hand to compare it with, how does Lancaster Brand replicas stack up against the originals? This one by the way is constructed from a nice cotton twill.

One Too Many
Beautiful pics! I have two replicas, one from NCHS, Inc, (George Peterson) and another from Garcia Aviation, both elastique. Nice copies. I have an original felt Lancaster, but it's not a 'crusher'. The copies would have been cheerfully worn back in the day, I would think.
