Laughs, when you can't stop

There are situations and places where you cannot laugh but for some reason you are laughing.
One day i was in the waiting room in a dental clinic. For a reason i cant remember now i started to laugh and the more i want to stop, the more i laugh!

Its worse when you are alone with unknown people.

People around you starts to look at themselves and think "is anything wrong with me?"

Anything similar happened to you guys?

Happens to me all the time. I laugh at just about everything and that does not always go over well with the wife. I can not help myself, I think just about everything is funny.

Story of my life! Especially when I'm with my boyfriend. He's one of those people that finds everything funny, and when he starts to laugh (he has a ridiculous girly giggle), I start to laugh, and then it just gets worse from there.

Sometimes we try to have contests of who can not laugh for the longest while we stare at each other and they are over in about 5 seconds because we (well, mostly me!) can't hold it in for that long.

It used to happen a lot when I was in class at school and that was in the days when you got the strap or the cane for such things. Some mate would crack a joke and before you knew it, it was "Smith! In the corridor now! I'll just get my cane..."

I know what the context is. The guy with the high-pitched voice had some sort of medical mishap during surgery that altered his male anatomy....the part that would make one's voice high-pitched.....

I find it worse with friends because I can't stop laughing then and start to risk suffocation. I don't mind hysterically laughing around unknown people - they don't know me anyways. Around friends I have plenty of laughing fits. Once I was laughing so much a friend thought I was drunk when I was 100% sober. I think if I stop laughing at things, I stop living - humor gets me through life.
