Looking for waxed canvas or "tin cloth"

I don't know if I should put this in the powder room because of the sewers or in one of the men's forums.
I'm looking for a source of waxed canvas, what soft luggage and outdoors equipment used to be made of. Has anyone ever saw this for sale retail? i found 2 suppliers online, but I believe you would need to order very large amounts and/or have a wholesale license.

Is this the same as "oilcloth"? If so, try searching for that term - it's much more commonly used.

I *think* oilcloth is different. At least the modern ones are. I'll look into that. I did find a website with instructions on how to wax your own cloth. That is as enticing to me as catching a sheep and spinning my own wool though.

I didn't think they were looking for oilcloth. I used to love to see the different rolls of oilcloth in the stores. Good for BBQs. lol
