New/vintage hats in California central coast?

I'm headed up to Monterey for a few days soon, a local road trip in place of a bigger vacation until Arnold finds a way to balance the California budget (a sign of the anxiety of being an employee of the state).

Can anyone recommend hat or vintage stores in the Monterey/Carmel/Salinas area? My wife and I may make a short side trip to see relatives in the Santa Cruz area, and we'll likely make a stop in Santa Barbara on the way back, so any recommendations on good vintage shops or hat stores will be appreciated.
