If this is a dumb question, please forgive my newbie inquiry: Is it possible to resize a felt hat, to wit, a Christy's Epsom, from, say a 7 3/8 to 7 1/2?
How about something a little more drastic, like a 7 1/8 to a 7 3/8? In this case my greatest concern would be the hat retaining the shape and size after it has been stretched.
That should be easy enough as well. You are talking about stretching a hat like that less than an inch in circumference.
I am sure a decent hat shop would be able to do it for you without much trouble at all. If Art can make a 7 1/4 fit my 7 5/8 head then your stretch should be much easier. You might even be able to save the original sweatband.
