Schott 626VN

This is Schott’s “Vintaged” version, a process that breaks-in the leather to a beautiful, softer, ready-to-wear condition. It is a fitted cross-zip jacket with zippers on the front side of the sleeves, a rocker style.

Pit-2-pit: 20.5
Shoulders: 17
Sleeves: 24
Back Length: 26.5

Although it was purchased less than two years ago, it probably has less than 30 hours of wear. It is in great condition. Some inevitable creases in the arms but the jacket is not even broken in. All brass hardware in excellent shape and functions with ease. Definitely made to last.

I really don’t want to let go of this Schott, but just ordered a custom Aero Ridley.

$495, PayPal and shipped from Northern California.

Boy what a good looking Schott and near perfect fit..!! ..and you're getting rid of that..?? Seems kind of a shame....o_O

Trust me, I am thinking exactly the same! It is an easy jacket to wear. Actually has great heft yet drapes very well.

I don't know if you ride a MC..but I usually put quite a few miles a year on one. Easy to wear is paramount to me. Aero's CXL HH can be very tiring after a while on the road for me. I prefer something a little more relaxed or comfortable..er..like your Schott.

HD, I do ride—I wear a Vanson with comp leather and armor inserts. Was at first very cumbersome but after several seasons the Vanson has soften and become tolerable. This Schott, however, is an easy wear no matter where you are, on a bike or in a coffee shop working on your blog site that no one reads. Seriously, one of the easiest-wearing jacket I’ve ever had. I’m just making room for a custom Aero Ridley in Italian Vicenza, which should be coming any time!

So you’ll get a better idea of what this jacket wears like in the real world, here are some images googled and borrowed from the internet:

It's no secret I'm biased toward Schott but... Even if I downright hated it, I'd admit this is one of the nicest Perfectos I've ever seen. Beautiful color, beautiful, natural, no nonsense leather with just the right amount of grain... Seems really substantial but really soft. On top of everything, it fits you perfectly. Plain awesome! Dude, you can only downgrade from such a jacket. I hope you won't regret selling it but good luck. It's a steal too, they go for at least $200 more elsewhere.

By the way, the bottom hem sweep (jacket zipped, laid flat, and measured across to side-edges) is 19 inches.

Monitor, your description is dead-on: substantial but soft. Anyone, knowledgeable or not, who picks up this jacket will immediately feel the quality.

As for my price, yes, it’s aggressively low because I consider it sunk cost. And my life is full of regrets!

Bottom hem across edge-to-edge: 19

I own a recent Schott 626 (not the VN version), same color, and have only received compliments when I wear it. The purchaser won't be sorry.

Best of luck with the sale!

Quite a few inquiries but the jacket is still available. So to push a few of you off the fence, I’ll lower the price to $449, shipped.

$449

That’s crazy.

Drop: $349

My custom jacket just came from Thurston Bros so I’m going to consolidate. The next owner of the awesome Schott 626VN above will be lucky to pay $349... unheard of for a 626VN in this great condition!

Lol man, you're just gonna have these end up being resold for an extreme profit! Hell, I'd do it! XD

Nah, not this jacket but I'd get it was I in the States... That's a theft of a decade this price here.

For sure, someone can buy it and resale at a 100% profit, at this point.

Is the jacket still for sale? If so, I am interested. Based on the specs, it seems like a perfect fit. Let me know...... Thanks. Jon
