This year I'm invited to my first Kentucky Derby party (not at Churchill Downs, unfortunately). Thought I'd start this thread for others heading off to such parties to post pics of themselves all gussied up for ""The Most Exciting Two Minutes In Sports" as it's known in the U.S.

If the party you are going to attend is outside, I'd check the weather and plan on maybe taking more than one selection of clothing to wear. I'd guess I would think my Husband would wear Seersucker if hot out, and sports coat and trousers as prescribed by the articles you already provided. A straw or panama hat (and if rain may be around) use a rain cover on it!

The "derby" is a blast!
