Sizing Question: Red Wing 9085 Engineer Boots

Does anyone have experience with Red Wing's 9085 "engineer" boots? I'm eyeing a pair in my precise size and width, but since you cannot try on shoes over the internet, I thought that I'd ask the FL hive mind for advice. For instance, does this model run large, small, true-to-size? What about Red Wings in general?

Thanks!

So I've owned several pair of Red Wings. They run rather true to size, if anything just a shade to the narrow side (speaking of D width here). Many of their US-made pairs you can order in any width. I would tend to think there's a retailer in San Francisco (and I've been to one in Sacramento) so I would encourage you to visit a real brick & mortar store, try on some, let them check you for fit. You'll be happy that you did.

Check out the engineer boots thread.
Btw nordstrom rack jas them for $150 with a very easy return policy.
