Another Crane fan here. I've dabbled in the pricier exotic stuff from time to time for specialty needs but there ain't nothin' wrong with Crane. It's like the Brooks Brothers of stationary.

Here's what I've been using for the last few years. It's Clairefontaine and you have to find it on-line but I think it's worth the effort.
The particular paper illustrated is white but next time I think I'll try a pale blue as the white can seem a little 'sudden' with black ink and "BlueBlack" ink is hard to find,

Does anyone have any suggestions for where one can get some stationary & envelopes for writing letters? I am open to either online or brick & motar stores.

Thanx!!!
Charlie
You can start by looking at your local STAPLES store and branch out from there.

+1 on the Triomphe!

BTW MikePotts, you might want to look at the inks here; there are many Blue-Black inks available:

and MB Midnight Blue as well here:

I am going to blatantly plug my sister's stationery company http://www.gumnuthill.com.au. Its only just up and running so I am sure she'd appreciate any feedback that you guys have and there is an embossed letterset in the product range. Might even be able to do a discount or something for members if you are interested in anything.

BW, I'm with you, and a little more specific...

I enjoy writing a personal letter by hand to friends and family, digits just won't do when it's about quality. The written word is a personal gift.

Saying all that I am often lost trying to find stationary for the MAN hand. Many, many options with a more feminine style, but very, very few for gentlemen.

Anyone out there that can recommend a line for a chap with a pen?
M.
