Thanks so much for posting these.

I saw one shirt with a contrasting collar. I wonder how popular these were back in the day. I don't recall seeing any until 10-15 years ago, but maybe I wasn't paying attention.

I have had two made. One is red/white stripes with a white club collar. Not long after I took delivery, I saw the same shirt here in an illustration from a 1934 AA scan, which was a bit of a kick.

I think some of those ads were done before color photography. Kodak starting selling Kodachrome around 1937-1938.
