Going out set dressing, and checking hats (it incenses me when actors wear them backwards). But before I do that… yeah… a vintage hat check in. Perhaps the epitome of hat design when it comes to function in the city. Soft with a brim that’s not too short as to let rain hit the nose, and with a curl abs binding to keep it sharp… sharp enough to keep the brim from drooping down then falling too far over the wearers eyes in a storm. I do like my wide brimmed Hamburgs. I put the St. Regis back into the Stetson a couple years back, and perfected the specs for a high end Homburg from Knox as an exclusive for JJ Hatcenter. The Knox Hamburg has an open 5.5 crown and a… well; this brim.

Fancy meeting you here, Matt.
Are Homburg and Hamburg equally correct?

Great hat!

Love the St Regis (especially the 40s hats). They look great now in every scenario.
